Slacker

I have been an awful updater.
This school thing is really getting in the way of my creative writing time.

Autumn has officially arrived: my flannel is out, I stepped on my first crunchy leaf yesterday, and I am constantly consuming apple cider. This weekend I head home to see some leaves changing, go to Rutgers' homecoming football game, and hopefully sneak in some apple picking. If I had a zip car I would leaf peep up here instead of going south.

There are a list of 10 fun things so far about this year. It's the quickest way for an update and includes fun visuals. I'll elaborate eventually...or just come over for dinner and I'll talk your ear off.

1. Seeing the Prudential Center through the
window when driving into Boston for move-in day

          2. Going blue for a few weeks

3. Having camp visitors: Donnie, Maree, Jas, Meg, and David

4. Cambridge International Festival

5. "What the Fluff?" in Sommerville

6. My adorable, little, artsy, studio apartment that I share with Veronica. We created art for the walls. It's even better when it's filled with my friends.

7. Brennan coming to visit for the weekend.

8. Our new visitor wall (behind Aimee).
Visitors must pose with a thought or speech bubble

9. Finding a Photo Booth in Downtown Crossing

10. My new Sundays in the South End tradition. No pictures yet.

I'll be more dedicated soon. Promise.

The Boston Marathon...

makes me feel lazy.

They ran 26.2 miles, what did you do today?

Twister-The Hot Spot

Last night I had a Twister photo shoot in my building. The only direction I gave was to pose in the perimeter of the mat. They came out so great, and I had a lot of fun doing it.
My favorites (the rest are on facebook):

Things that have brought me joy lately:

1. My family visiting!

2. Driving around Boston in Veronica's car with Becki and Chelsea and singing at the top of our lungs.

3. IHOP!

4. Finally getting the chocolate chip pancakes I've been talking about for months.

5. My sweet souvenir courtesy of our waiter Marco.

6. Hanging out in Target.

7. Stumbling upon a beach.

8. Finding the name of my hometown on a tag at Target.

9. Blowing bubbles in my chocolate milk.
