Fall Foliage Festival
Bostonians can go leaf-peeping in their own backyard at the Arnold Arboretum’s celebration of spectacular fall foliage. Developed in collaboration with Slow Food Boston, this event celebrates the beauty and culinary treasures of a local autumn with a wide variety of activities. Visitors can take a guided tour of the Arboretum landscape blazing with color; taste apples, cider, and other autumn treats; and enjoy music, storytelling, kids' craft activities and more. "Fruit explorer” John Bunker will be on hand to discuss his efforts to recover some of the 10,000 apple varieties that once grew across the United States, and to share some of the rare and heirloom apples he has discovered in his travels. The event is free. Use of public transportation is strongly encouraged.

*****My friend Becki sent me this site. If you have a Charlie Card, which is like a debit card for riding the T, then you can get “wicked” discounts. http://www.mbta.com/riding_the_t/CharlieCard_Discount_Book/
More to come soon,
I’ve been slacking…my room is filled with papers. This kid Calvin keeps commenting on the “messy” state of my room but we bought something at Goodwill that will hopefully help me organize.
Sarah Lucie better appreciate this ;)
