Dance Like There's No Music?

I've never been to a rave, but I like the idea of loud music, glow sticks, and crazy people (who are crazy before tripping on E). I've heard about silent raves. A guy and a girl from BU I once met on the T told me they went last year and it was a lot of fun. This year's is approaching on April 17.

I found it on facebook:

"You know what it's like to be blasting music and not being able to resist the urge to dance. Now imagine yourself with your headphones on and favorite music cranked up surrounded by hundreds of fellow silent ravers, all like you, unable to resist the urge to dance. You let go, feel the sound flow through you, move to the music, dance! "

BYOG - Bring Your Own Glow!

What is a silent rave?
A silent rave is a flash mob of people dancing to their own music using headphones.

1. Make a playlist
2. Meet the mob
3. Put on headphones
4. RAVE!!!

Meet me there with a glowstick in hand. I love dancing like an idiot on the T or down the street to my own playlist and now I'll have an excuse to dance to music that no one else can hear.
